Celery can be grown by planting seeds early in springtime and then protecting the seedlings until harvest in summer. This video gives a step by step explanation of the process and is great for beginners. In this case the seedlings are protected using an empty milk carton. If plants are grown in a staggered fashion (e.g. plant some seeds each week), then the cellary can be harvested throughout the season.
