The seed is tiny: sow on the surface of fine mix in spring, press in and keep warm and damp. Growth is slow.
Tips
- Drainage matters more than anything: use gritty mix and a pot with holes.
- Water when the mix is dry; a finger pushed in shows if it is.
- Feed lightly; trim off dead sprigs.
